As part of its commitment to building an inclusive, respectful organizational culture focused on the holistic development of individuals, Advanced Composites Mexico successfully held Diversity Week, an initiative designed to promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the differences that enrich our society and workplace.
During the event, various activities were held to raise awareness about the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating opportunities for learning and reflection for our employees. These initiatives help reinforce one of the company’s fundamental principles: fostering an environment where every person is respected, listened to, and valued for their abilities, talents, and contributions.
As part of the activities, we were honored to have the valuable participation of the AUTAG Therapeutic Center and the CAVA Group (Centro de Atención Vive Aguascalientes A.C.), organizations committed to promoting inclusion and the well-being of individuals. Both institutions delivered an enlightening talk on Autism, providing key information to better understand neurodiversity and fostering greater empathy toward the different ways people perceive and interact with the world.
The session allowed attendees to learn more about the characteristics of the autism spectrum, break down stigmas, and reflect on the importance of building accessible and inclusive environments where everyone has equal opportunities for development and participation.
